HIGH PEAK

Stephan Washburn's love and passion for music stems back to his childhood, when he started learning piano at a very young age.  From there, he pursued learning the drums under teachings by Ted Mackenzie and other instructors.

 

By 2016, Washburn had developed a sincere interest in music production.  He began learning the ins and outs of the craft and furthered his education in college and on other educational platforms.  He had many opportunities in learning about music production and sound engineering through internships and masterclasses with successful players in the industry.  He is continuing to further his education and craftsmanship through official music releases on major platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.

Washburn has since released an EP and three singles under the name, High Peak in the years 2020 & 2021, with more music on the way.  In 2019 & early 2020, Washburn created a live show entirely from scratch as his senior capstone project at Marymount Manhattan College to accompany the 'Summit' EP before the COVID-19 pandemic.  The live show was never able to take place due to the setback, but there are plans to further develop the show for a future date.
